The Driving Force behind PKGS was born out of the dream to bring together passion with professionalism. The group was founded in 1970 by the late Sri. Pallath Kumaran Ganesh, a highly successful excise contractor who managed multiple retail outlets and the distributorship for several IMFL products. Today, the group is managed by Binesh PG, the founder’s younger son who has not just inherited the company but also his father’s business acumen. The group is fast expanding its reach, operating multiple organizations across the globe.

Started importing wines from South Africa to design own liquors.

Launched the St. Rhine Collection. Production and Launch in UAE.

Production of Silver Volk, Beau Cape & Black Smoke. Commencing of sales in India in TN & KL, Cochin Duty Free, Sharjah Duty Free Abhu Dhabi and northern Emirates – Ras Al Ahima, Fujairah.

Michelangelo International Spirits and Wines Competiton remains unique in Africa, in that all judges are hand-picked wine experts, hailing from five different continents. Since the start of the competition in 1997, more than 278 individual judges from 51 countries have served on the panels. PKGS Holdings’ St. Rhine VS Cape Brandy won the Gold Medal in the year 2021.
